This Cookie Policy explains how Laponie Pte. Ltd. (“Laponie”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on laponie.com.sg. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your choices and keep your account secure. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in a comparable way.
2. Cookies we use
We currently use only strictly necessary cookies. They are needed for the website to work, for example to log in to your trade account, keep items in your cart and protect the site. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*: keep approved trade partners signed in securely. Expire when you log out, or after up to 14 days if you choose “Remember me”.
- wordpress_test_cookie: checks that your browser accepts cookies so you can log in. Session.
- wp_woocommerce_session_*: remembers your cart and order details while you shop. Up to 2 days.
- woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart: keep the cart up to date as you browse. Session.
- wp-settings-*: remember display settings for logged-in users. Up to 1 year.
Your cookie notice choice
When you close the cookie notice, we remember this in your browser’s local storage (laponie_cookie_notice) so the notice does not appear again. It contains no personal data.
Embedded content
Some pages may show content from other websites, such as videos or social media posts. Those websites may set their own cookies, governed by their own policies.
3. Analytics and marketing cookies
We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If we add them in future, for example to understand how visitors use the site, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to log in to your trade account or place orders. Guidance is available in the help pages of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use. The latest version will always be on this page.
